Craig Lewis Wins Gold Medal |
Craig Lewis won the Gold
Medal in International Trap Shooting, Scholastic Division of the
Empire State Games,
held July 25-26 in Binghamton, NY. Day one, round four, Craig shot
a perfect 25. He finished the two-day competition with a final score of
180, including winning the single-barrel shootout in the finals between
the point leaders. Craig represented the Adirondack Division and shoots locally at the
Hendrick Hudson Fish and Game Club. In the past three year's
Empire State Games, Craig
took Bronze and Silver medals.
Craig was introduced to the sport at
Rotary Scout Reservation and thanks
his grandfather, Dick Lewis of Eagle Mills, for teaching him how to
shoot competitively.

Craig is rewarded for
his perfect round score by the competitors shooting his hat!

Nice trophy!
